Giles Fielke is completing a PhD on the work of Hollis Frampton at The University of Melbourne. He is a founding member of the Artist Film Workshop and the Memo Review, and regularly publishes writing on contemporary art and artist-film.
Dr Helen Hughes is Research Curator at Monash University Museum of Art, and Assistant Lecturer, Art History and Curatorial Studies, Monash University, Melbourne. She is also a co-founder and co-editor of Discipline journal.
Paris Lettau is an independent arts writer, researcher, and graduate from the University of Melbourne and Monash University. His research focuses on conceptual and post-conceptual art, in particular the work of Australian conceptual artist Ian Burn.
Dr Amelia Barikin is a curator, writer and art historian. She is a Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Her monograph on the contemporary French artist Pierre Huyghe was published by MIT Press in 2012.
Nicholas Croggon is an independent art writer, a graduate of the University of Melbourne and of the Gertrude Contemporary Emerging Writers Program, and is currently a PhD candidate in art history at Columbia University, New York. He is co-founder and co-editor of the contemporary art journal, Discipline.
Robyn Dold is Program Coordinator at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne. She has a particular interest in Australian installation art of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Jane Eckett is a former director of Whyte’s Fine Art Auctioneers, Dublin (2000-09), and holds a Masters by research from Trinity College Dublin (2007). She recently completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne on emigré modernist sculptors in Victoria, and has taught and published on Australian, British, and Irish art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Dr Justine Grace completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2012 on the role of religion in avant-garde and contemporary art practice. She has published in national and international journals including Critica d’Arte, The Journal of the Arts in Society, LOLA and Colloquy.
Dr Katrina Grant is a Lecturer in Digital Humanities at the College of the Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University and the editor of the Melbourne Art Network. She completed her PhD in the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne in 2011 on the relationship between gardens and theatre in Baroque Italy. She is also on the executive for the Art Association of Australia and New Zealand.
Ryan Johnston is Head of Art at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. He is finalising his PhD dissertation entitled ‘Eduardo Paolozzi: History is Bunk!’ at the University of Melbourne.
Tim Ould is a graduate of the art history program at the University of Melbourne. He works as a research officer and tutor at the Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation.
Francis Plagne completed his PhD in Social Theory at the University of Melbourne in 2017 on the work of Hans Blumenberg. He has also published on contemporary art from Australia and New Zealand and experimental film.
Jarrod Rawlins works at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart.
Mark Shepheard is a PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Melbourne. His thesis is a study of Italian musician portraits of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. He also produces ‘The Early Music Experience’ for Melbourne radio station 3MBS FM.
Christopher Williams-Wynn is a PhD candidate in the Department of History of Art + Architecture at Harvard University. An independent art writer and curator, he is also co-founder and co-editor of the contemporary art publication, Dissect Journal.
